Holly is Senior Manager at The Nest School and brings over 19 years of experience in early childhood care and education, including Management within a preschool nursery in London. Full of warmth, fun, and positive energy, Holly loves supporting our Nest School team, children, and families every day. She is deeply passionate about creating welcoming, nurturing, high-quality environments where both children and staff feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.

A Greystones native and proud mum of two, Holly enjoys keeping active, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and engaging with her local community.

Samantha is a Manager at The Nest School and brings over 16 years of experience in early childhood care and education, including owning and managing her own preschool in Kilcoole, for 10 years. Warm, caring, and enthusiastic, Samantha is deeply passionate about each child’s early learning journey and understands the importance of high-quality childcare in giving every child the very best start. She loves supporting our wonderful team while building strong, meaningful relationships with children and families.

A mum to two sporty girls, Samantha spends much of her spare time cheering from the sidelines at cross-country runs and gymnastics competitions. When she finds a quiet moment, she enjoys forest walks with her family and their dog—and is also a passionate sea swimmer.

Clair is passionate about early years education and is continually fascinated by the many ways young children learn and absorb the world around them. As both an Early Years Educator and a mum, Clair understands how important it is for children to have a happy, positive learning experience, and she believes that warm, supportive teaching plays a vital role in this.

Clair is constantly inspired by children’s emergent learning and feels truly rewarded watching each child grow in confidence and independence. Outside of The Nest School, she enjoys outdoor exercise, sea swimming, baking, music, and reading.

Jay is our most experienced Early Years Educator and has supported and cared for many families in the Greystones community over the years. Fun, energetic, and wonderfully creative, Jay brings joy to everyone she meets and forms incredibly strong bonds with both children and colleagues alike. Her warmth and enthusiasm help create a happy, nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and truly valued.

A mum to two grown-up daughters, Jay is a devoted sea swimmer and festival-goer in her spare time—bringing the same vibrant energy she shares at The Nest School into her own life too.

Jane is a devoted Early Years Educator who truly delights in watching children grow as their sense of wellbeing, identity, belonging, communication, and curiosity are gently nurtured—from figuring out the shape of their sandwich to learning about the biggest planet, and everything in between! Deeply committed to her career in early years, Jane admits to missing her class when she’s not with them.

A mum of four grown-up children, Jane enjoys reading, sea swimming, and the occasional jigsaw in her spare time—bringing the same calm care and thoughtfulness she shares with the children into her own life.

Personal Profile:

Leonora is originally from Avoca, Co. Wicklow and brings a wealth of experience to her role, having worked in Greystones for much of the past 15 years, as well as spending two years teaching in an international school in Muscat, Oman. Deeply dedicated to early years education, Leonora forms strong relationships with her class and is passionate about creating a stimulating, safe, and encouraging environment where children feel respected, supported, and excited to learn.

Energetic and highly motivated, Leonora recently completed her Lámh Module 1 training, which she enjoys incorporating into the daily curriculum. Outside of The Nest School, she loves travelling, going to concerts, and walking her dog Marvolo on Brittas Bay beach—and she’s also a self-proclaimed Harry Potter fanatic!

Aoife, originally from Greystones, is a mum to three boys and brings warmth, care, and creativity to her role at The Nest School. After a successful career in interior design, Aoife followed her passion for working with children and qualified in Early Education and Special Needs Assisting in 2021. She has also completed specialist training in Autism in the Early Years setting.

With her gentle, loving nature, children are truly at the centre of everything Aoife does. She thoroughly enjoys the company of young children and brings great value to the classroom through her kindness, creativity, and dedication. Outside of work, Aoife loves having fun, travelling, and anything to do with interiors. She’s also a huge animal lover and treasures spending time with those closest to her.

Natasha is a highly dedicated, caring, and patient Early Years Educator with a genuine passion for creating positive learning experiences for every child in her care. Alongside her work as a preschool teacher, Natasha brings many years of childminding experience and truly enjoys the company of young children, building gentle, trusting relationships with each child she supports.

Outside of The Nest School, Natasha enjoys walking and reading – bringing the same gentle energy and attentiveness she shares with the children into her own time.

With over a decade of experience working with children of diverse ages and linguistic backgrounds, Mira is a dedicated preschool teacher with a genuine passion for nurturing growth, creativity, and curiosity in young learners. Having worked in several countries, including China and Ireland, Mira brings a rich understanding of multicultural and multilingual classroom environments to her role.

A mum of two young children herself, Mira offers a caring, thoughtful approach and loves supporting each child’s individual development journey—helping them feel confident, valued, and inspired through play and connection.

Emily brings many years of experience working in Montessori and childcare settings, along with a wonderful background in music, having taught piano for several years. She loves combining creativity and teaching, and especially enjoys the fun, spontaneity, and joy that come with working alongside young children in the classroom.

Emily has a gentle, caring approach and delights in supporting children as they learn and grow. Outside of The Nest School, she enjoys reading, music, travelling, and Pilates.

Personal Profile:

Originally from sunny Gran Canaria, Laura has called Ireland home for the past four years. With a degree in Early Childhood Education, over six years of experience and a background in sports and leisure, she brings plenty of energy, creativity and enthusiasm to The Nest School.

Laura loves being part of children’s early adventures in learning and discovery. She’s happiest when children are getting creative, enjoying the outdoors or simply following their curiosity to see where it takes them. She believes in giving children the time, space and encouragement to try things for themselves, build confidence and develop their independence at their own pace.

One of Laura’s favourite parts of her job is getting to know all the different little personalities in her care and watching each child’s confidence blossom as they explore the world around them.

Outside of The Nest, Laura loves hiking, spending time in nature and getting creative with painting and art.

Personal Profile:

Marie brings a lovely mix of kindness, creativity and fun to The Nest School. As a mum of two young children herself, she understands just how special – and busy! – those early years can be. In fact, it was after having her own children that Marie decided to return to college and follow her passion for working in childcare.

Marie particularly loves imaginative play, creative activities and all the wonderful learning that happens when children are simply having fun. She enjoys encouraging little imaginations to run wild, whether through arts and crafts, make-believe adventures or everyday play. Seeing children grow in confidence, discover new skills and express their personalities is what makes her job so rewarding.

Outside of The Nest, Marie enjoys baking, swimming and getting stuck into arts and crafts. And when she’s looking for a fun way to keep fit, you’ll often find her bouncing away on her mini trampoline!

Personal Profile:

Caoimhe joined The Nest School in 2020 and brings warmth, creativity, and fun to everything she does. She loves creating fun, playful learning environments that gently support each child to reach their full potential. Caoimhe thoughtfully follows children’s interests through meaningful play, engaging activities, and active collaboration—helping each child feel confident, curious, and supported.

Always with a smile on her face, Caoimhe truly enjoys the company of young children and delights in building strong, caring relationships with them. Outside of work, she loves arts and crafts, baking, Pilates, and sea swimming (dipping!)

Anna joined The Nest School team in 2024 and has flourished in her role ever since. Highly creative and deeply child-centred, Anna builds strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents. With her gentle manner and natural warmth, she brings fun, energy, and care to everyone she supports.

Anna pours enormous creativity into her classroom environments, thoughtfully designing inviting play and activity areas that inspire curiosity and engagement. Having previously worked as an accountant, Anna followed her heart into early years education—where her true passion lies. A mum of two grown-up children, she enjoys sports, cooking, and reading (whenever she finds the time!).

Orla started in our Littlebrook pre-school in August 2025. Orla is highly enthusiastic and deeply committed to her career in early years education. She brings fun, energy, and creativity to every day, creating happy, engaging experiences for all the children in her care. Orla has a special love for designing inviting, playful learning environments and thoughtfully follows children’s emerging interests to support their curiosity and development.

Outside of The Nest School, Orla enjoys seaside walks, hiking, baking, and building Lego sets—bringing the same creativity and joy she shares with the children into her own time too.

Personal Profile:

Neasa, a Greystones native and mum of four (three of whom are grown up), brings over 25 years of experience in early years education—including management—into her role at The Nest School. Her wealth of personal and professional experience shines through in her beautifully prepared and thoughtfully managed classroom environments.

Neasa has a natural warmth with young children and builds strong, caring relationships with each child in her care, helping them feel safe, valued, and confident. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, especially walking her dog and enjoying the fresh air.

Outside of The Nest School, Orla enjoys seaside walks, hiking, baking, and building Lego sets—bringing the same creativity and joy she shares with the children into her own time too.

Ava is passionate about creating a fun, nurturing, and dynamic environment where every child feels happy, supported, and encouraged to explore. She especially loves weaving her background in Music and Performing Arts into the daily curriculum, bringing creativity, movement, and joy into children’s learning experiences.

Alongside working full time at The Nest School, Ava is currently undertaking her Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education. A mum to a young daughter, Ava brings a caring and thoughtful approach to her role. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and going for walks.

Ellen graduated from Maynooth University and has spent the past four years doing what she loves — helping little people learn, grow and discover the world around them. She brings a warm, caring and playful approach to her work, creating an environment where children feel happy, secure and confident to be themselves.

Ellen loves getting to know each child’s unique personality and finding creative ways to bring their interests into everyday learning. Whether it’s imaginative play, arts and crafts or a new little adventure, she enjoys encouraging children to explore, have a go and celebrate their achievements, big and small. Building strong relationships with children and their families is something she really values.

When she’s not at The Nest, Ellen enjoys music, baking, keeping active and spending time outdoors. She also loves getting creative and catching up with family and friends.

Personal Profile:

Elaine brings a wonderful mix of creativity, warmth and musical experience to The Nest School. With over 20 years spent teaching piano and singing, alongside her studies in child psychology and early childhood education, she has a real appreciation for the many different ways children learn, express themselves and grow in confidence.

Elaine believes in creating a calm, happy and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to shine in their own way. Her background in music gives her a lovely creative perspective, and she enjoys finding opportunities to bring imagination, self-expression and a little musical magic into children’s everyday experiences.

Outside of The Nest, Elaine is passionate about health and wellbeing and enjoys yoga, meditation, reading, films and spending time in nature.

Personal Profile:

With over 30 years of experience caring for young children, Maura brings a wealth of knowledge, kindness and a wonderfully nurturing presence to The Nest School. Having been a much-loved childminder in Greystones for many years, she has spent much of her working life helping little ones feel safe, happy and loved.

Maura has a natural warmth and a genuine love of working with children. She understands just how important those early years are and enjoys being part of the everyday moments that help children grow in confidence, independence and curiosity. Her gentle, caring nature, combined with her years of experience, makes her a lovely addition to The Nest team.

Maura is also a proud mum of three grown-up children. When she’s not busy with the little ones at school, she enjoys keeping active at fitness classes and taking her dog for walks along the beach.

Personal Profile:

With 14 years of experience in early childhood education, Laura brings a wonderful mix of knowledge, enthusiasm and creativity to The Nest School. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, inclusive and fun environment where every child feels comfortable to explore, play and be themselves.

Laura is a big believer in learning through hands-on experiences and has a particular love for messy and sensory play. Whether it’s painting, exploring different textures or getting stuck into a wonderfully messy activity, she loves giving children the freedom to experiment, discover and learn in their own way. For Laura, seeing the excitement and pride on a child’s face when they’ve tried something new is one of the best parts of the job.

Outside of The Nest, Laura is a busy mum to two boys and loves heading off on adventures with them. She’s also a fan of baking, getting lost in a good book and all things Disney — so a little bit of magic is never too far away!

Originally from Spain, Claudia brings warmth, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for early childhood education to The Nest School. With five years of experience across different educational settings, she loves being part of those important early years when children are discovering who they are and what they can do.

Claudia believes that some of the very best learning happens through play. She enjoys creating fun, meaningful experiences that spark children’s curiosity, encourage friendships and give them the confidence to explore new things. She particularly loves watching children become more independent, develop their own interests and take pride in their little achievements along the way.

Claudia’s caring and inclusive approach means she is always focused on helping each child feel welcome, supported and valued. For her, every child brings something special to the group, and getting to know their individual personalities is one of the things she enjoys most about her work.

Katelyn brings over five years of experience in early childhood education to The Nest School, having worked in both educator and management roles. Her experience has given her a strong understanding of children’s development and a real appreciation for how much those early years matter.

Katelyn enjoys creating a warm, encouraging environment where children feel happy, confident and ready to explore. She loves supporting children as they learn new skills, become more independent and discover their own interests and abilities. She believes that every child develops at their own pace and that giving them the right encouragement, care and opportunities to play can make all the difference.

When she’s not at The Nest, Katelyn loves spending time outdoors and making the most of time with her friends and family.

Carla is our wonderful resident Chef and joined The Nest School team in August 2025, bringing with her many years of catering experience across hospital and childcare settings, including supporting both adults and children with special dietary requirements. Having lived in Spain for 11 years—where she owned and managed an Irish bar and restaurant—Carla brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and care to everything she prepares.

A mum to two grown-up children, Carla loves nourishing our Nest School community with wholesome, home-style meals made with warmth and attention to detail. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, cooking for family and friends, has a passion for interior design… and, of course, a soft spot for cats!
